La Broadcasting Board of Governors es la agencia federal del gobierno de los EE. UU. encargada de supervisar todas las transmisiones de radio y televisión no militares del gobierno federal. Creada en 1994.
Tiene los siguientes servicios internacionales bajo su supervisión:
- International Broadcasting Bureau (IBB) que se compone de
- Voice of America (VOA, 1942)
- WORLDNET Television and Film Service and Radio (hasta mayo de 2004 siendo incorporado a VOA)
- La Oficina de Transmisiones para Cuba de la IBB a cargo de:
- Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty (RFE y RL creadas en 1952 y 1953 respectivamente, fusionadas en 1975)
- Middle East Broadcasting Services a cargo de:
- Radio Sawa (2002)
- Alhurra (servicio de televisión, 2004)
- Radio Farda (2002)
- Radio Free Asia (RFA, 1996)
