Ejemplo de cisoide media.

Se llama cisoide a la curva generada por la suma de los vectores posición de dos curvas dadas.

Sean C1 y C2 dos curvas definidas por las siguientes ecuaciones en coordenadas polares:

\rho =\rho_1(\theta) \, y \rho =\rho_2(\theta) \,

Entonces, C1 y C2 generan las tres cisoides de ecuaciones:

\rho =\rho_1(\theta)+\rho_2(\theta) \,
\rho =\rho_1(\theta)-\rho_2(\theta) \,
\rho =\frac{\rho_1(\theta)+\rho_2(\theta)}{2} \,
