Cyber, también denominada cybergoth, cultura cibernética o cibercultura, es el nombre dado a una subcultura que tiene sus raíces en múltiples escenas musicales incluidas las escenas Goth europeas y escenas rave/discoteca. Alguien que se identifica con la subcultura cibernética puede ser contemplado como un "cyber", aunque el término "cybergoth" se utiliza para referirse a alguien que es percibido o tiene influencia de la subcultura gótica y "cyberkid" se utiliza para referirse a aquellos que asisten a clubs trance / hard dance.

Si bien la moda inspirada en la ciencia-ficción y el interés en la música electrónica son dos áreas que definen la subcultura cibernética, los cybers también tienden a tener un interés general en las nuevas tecnologías y el futuro, una visión optimista de su influencia en la sociedad, y otros temas de la cibercultura.

Los Cyber están asociados con la música en gran medida de naturaleza electrónica, que abarca tanto electrónica alternativa (géneros como el electronic body music, música industrial, futurepop y noise) y clubs de baile orientados a estilos musicales como el trance, hard dance y otros géneros de música electronica incluyendo el drum and bass synthpop, gabber e intelligent dance music.
