David Vincent Field ( * 1937 -) es un botánico, taxónomo y explorador inglés. Realizó extensas exploraciones botánicas a África, especialmente a Kenia. Desarrolló toda su carrera científica en Kew Gardens, llegando a Director en 1989[1]
