Dagr ("día", en escandinavo moderno: Dag, en islandés moderno : Dagur) era, en la mitología nórdica, el dios del día, hijo de Delling (dios del crepúsculo) y Nótt (diosa de la noche). Dagr, cruza a través del cielo todos los días en un carruaje empujado por un caballo llamado Skinfaxi. La melena de Skinfaxi alumbra el cielo y la tierra. El caballo equivalente de Nott, Hrimfaxi , alumbra la noche.

La d-runa D (Unicode U+16DE ᛞ) es llamada Daeg "día" en el poema runa anglosajones. El runa es también parte del Viejo Futhark, con el nombre proto-germánico reconstruido dagaz. La letra correspondiente del alfabeto gótico d es llamada dags.
