Distant Project es una banda de pop electrónica surgida en el año 2002, la particularidad de este proyecto es que sus dos integrantes viven en países diferentes, Distant Project, o projecto a la distancia, está formado por: Fabricio Soutus en sintes, bajos, programaciones y voz, residente en los Estados Unidos y Walter Yunker, sintes, programación y baterías, residente en Argentina. Esta banda comenzó trabajando mediante el uso de internet para el intercambio de proyectos y maquetas las que siempre terminan la post-producción en Estados Unidos.

En un primer momento la banda solo daba a conocer su música desde su sitio web, del que se podían descargar en forma gratuita algunos temas. Pero en el año 2004 el sello whitesunmusic comenzó a producir su música en formato Cd y con una distribución vía web dentro de las principales tiendas de música online. Fue así que para 2005 salía el primer Cd de Distant Project, “Venus” y para 2007 su segundo Cd: "Primitive", ambos grabados de una manera totalmente inédita, bases y melodías en Argentina y voces, bajos y arreglos en Estados Unidos para ser finalmente masterizado en los estudios de la productora en Phoenix.

Integrantes

Fabricio Soutus: Voz - Sintes - Programación - Bajo. 06-05-1973. Fabricio es el encargado de poner la voz a los temas, ademas de ser el responsable de las letras y los arreglos de bajo y cuerdas.

Walter Yunker:Sintes . Programación - Baterias. 18-05-1971. Walter trabaja en la estructura primaria de los temas además de programar las atmosferas que envolverán toda la canción. Las baterias tambien son su labor dentro de la banda.
