La East Village es un vecindario en la comuna de Manhattan, Nueva York.

Este barrio está rodeado por la calle 14 al norte, el río East al este, la calle Houston al sur y la calle Bowery y la Tercera Avenida al oeste. Limita al oeste de Greenwich Village y el NoHo, al norte con Stuyvesant Town, y al sur con el Lower East Side. El barrio incluye el vecindario conocido como Alphabet City.

La "East Village" fue, y para algunos aún es, parte del "Lower East Side". En los años 1980s, los constructores promovieron el nombre East Village para diferenciar al barrio y liberarlo de la reputación que tiene el Lower East Side, tratando en cambio de capturar el encanto que posee Greenwich Village.
