Edward Hooper (nacido en 1951) es un periodista británico mayormente conocido por su libro, The River,[1] en cual investiga el origen del VIH y la rápida propagación de éste. Crea una controversia y disputa acerca del virus de SIDA,[2] que sitúa su origen en una puesta en circulación accidental de los científicos probando una vacuna experimental para la polio.
