Eggplant Active Media es una cooperativa que proporciona servicios multimedia y comunicaciones a negocios, comunidades, organizaciones e individualidades. Estos servicios van desde el diseño web a la consultoría o el alojamiento web. Realizan también el CMS libre llamado Ministry of Information Content Management System, basado en RiotCore.

La cooperativa está formada por varias personas que llevan colaborando con el nodo de la red Indymedia de Seattle desde 1999 y que decidieron extender la actividad de su trabajo voluntario como activistas para hacerla su modo de sustento ofreciendo sus habilidades a otras organizaciones. Los trabajadores de la cooperativa promueven una sociedad ecológica e igualitaria con libertades políticas, económicas, sociales y civiles para todas las personas y comunidades.
