Cuatro buques de la Royal Navy británica han recibido el nombre HMS Kempenfelt, en memoria del almirante Richard Kempenfelt:

  • destructor tipo líder de flotillas de clase 1915 y vendido y desguazado en 1921.
  • HMS Kempenfelt fue un destructor de clase C destroyer botado en 1931. Fue transferido a la Armada Real Canadiense en 1939 que lo renombró 1945, y el casco, fue vendido en 1952.
  • clase W inicialmente nombrado HMS Valentine. Fue botado 1943, y fue vendido a la Armada Yugoselava en 1956, donde fue renombrado Kotor. Fue retirado del servicio en 1971.
  • HMS Kempenfelt fue el nombre asignado inicialmente al destructor de clase clase V
