Hysteria fue una banda de rock gótico formada en Plymouth, (Inglaterra) que pervivió pocos años (1984-1985). Estaba compuesta por cuatro miembros: Carron (voz), Chris (guitarra), Sibs (bajo) y Midge (batería). Su único trabajo, al parecer, es el EP titulado Behind The Veil, editado en 1984 por la discográfica Sculpture. Su sonido es el característico de aquellos años y de su estilo, con voces femeninas y fuertes reminiscencias de Skeletal Family y X-Mal Deutschland.
