Ian Campbell.[1] (* 15 de mayo de 1928, Santiago, Chile) es un exjugador de rugby chileno, uno de los más destacados de la historia del Rugby en Chile, nominado para el IRB salón de la Fama. Además de ser el capitán Selección de rugby de Chile por más de 15 años.

Su padre, Colin Campbell, fue un emigrante escocés, empresario y jugador de fútbol aficionado, que ha desempeñado en Chile de Fútbol Campeonato Sudamericano, en 1910.

Ian Campbell siguió los pasos de su hermano mayor Donald Campbell después de la Segunda Guerra Mundial, cuando comenzó a jugar al rugby en el Saint Peter's School, en Valparaíso para luego jugar en el club Prince of Wales Country Club.

Integró con la selección chilena los Sudamericanos de 1951, 1958, 1961 y además de jugar en el primer duelo internacional de la Selección de rugby de Chile ante Irlanda en 1952 y ante Francia en 1954.

Abuelo del jugador de Rugby Santiago Fuenzalida promisoria figura del Rugby Chileno fallecido en un accidente automovilístico el 30 de noviembre tras participar en la Rugbytón, competencia de seven realizada en el Stade Français para apoyar a la Teletón.
