All Around The World, compuesta por Noel Gallagher para su banda Oasis, se encuentra tanto en el álbum Be Here Now de 1997 como en el single de mismo título de 1998. La canción fue compuesta a principios de la década de 1990, pero Noel no pudo terminar la versión correcta hasta 1997. Con muchos arreglos de cuerdas, y percusión el tema es la base del tercer álbum de la banda. En el momento de máxima fama del Brit pop y Oasis, la composición de Gallagher se vio influenciada por la presencia de ácidos y otras drogas al momento de la producción y grabación del mismo. Esto se vio en la duración de las canciones, y siendo este el más largo álbum de la banda. All around the world dura 9 minutos y 20 segundos. Con un video al estilo Yellow Submarine de The Beatles la canción alcanzó el puesto 1 en el Reino Unido. Los lados b que se encuentran en el single son, The Fame, Flashbax y el cover de los Rolling Stones, Street Fighting Man. Años después de ese comentario, el tema es visto como una de las mejores obras de la banda de Manchester.

Curiosidades

  • Mark Feltham en la armonica. Las ex esposas de Noel y Liam Gallagher, Meg Matthews y Patsy Kensit, respectivamente, acompañan la canción con sus voces.
  • Partes de la canción son usadas como acompañamiento para las propagandas de AT&T.
  • El Video musical ha sido el más caro en toda la historia de la música (UK)
