Metal Church es el auto-titulado álbum debut de la banda de thrash metal, Metal Church. Lanzado en 1984, este y el álbum The Dark, son considerados clásicos del metal. La portada del álbum es una guitarra Gibson Explorer escondida entre sombras y humo.

Este álbum ayudo al desarrollo del thrash metal de los 80's, y también muestra el talento y la habilidad de la banda. Algunas de las mas notables canciones son la canción que abre el disco, Beyond The Black; la pista que da nombre al disco, haciéndolos una de las bandas (Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Motörhead, Dark Moor, Iced Earth) en tener su álbum auto-titulado y una pista auto-titulada; la instrumental Merciless Onslaught; Gods Of Wrath, la cual es diferente de todas las demás canciones, tiene voces limpias, ritmos limpios, solos fluidos y una memorable línea de bajo y ritmo de batería; y el cover de Deep Purple Highway Star. La primera edición europea en vinilo contenía un bonus track, "Big Guns".
