Ngardmau

Ngardmau es uno de los dieciséis estados de las islas Palaos y está localizado sobre el lado de oeste de Babeldaob entre los estados de Ngaraard y Ngeremlengui. Su área total es de 47 kilómetros cuadrados. Según el último censo, 221 personas viven en Ngardmau. Sus 46 casas están situadas en tres aldeas: Ngetbong, Ngerutoi, y Urdmau.

La elevación más alta sobre islas Palaos está en Ngardmau; el Monte Ngerchelchuus, que es ligeramente más de 242 metros de alto. En la base del sur de esta montaña se localiza el bosque más grande y más viejo en islas Palaos con árboles gigantescos que albergan a muchas especies de pájaros.

En Ngardmau hay cinco tiendas, una lavandería automática, dos gasolineras, sobre la empresa de construcción, y un taller de reparaciones automático. Ngardmau tiene dos alojamientos turísticos, un pequeño alquiler de apartamento en el establecimiento y dos bungalows en los bosques encima de una cascada escénica (Taki Falls), que es la atracción principal turística de Ngardmau.
