Ocotea foetens, Til,[1] es decir "tilo", es una especie fanerógama de árboles de hasta 40 m de altura en la familia Lauraceae. Es constituyente habitual de la selva laurisilva de los archipiélagos de Macaronesia: Madeira y Azores (Portugal), y Canarias (España).

Está amenazado por pérdida de hábitat. Apparece en el centro del escudo de El Hierro.[2]
