Sheik

Sheik (シーク Shīku?) es el nombre del álter ego de la princesa Zelda en el videojuego The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time publicado originalmente en la videoconsola Nintendo 64.

Historia

Impa se llevó a Zelda al tomar Ganondorf el castillo de Hyrule cuando Link, el Héroe del Tiempo, extrajo la Espada Maestra del pedestal del tiempo. Nadie volvió a verla en mucho tiempo, pues, entonces se hizo pasar por Sheik.

Sheik hace creer a Link que pertenece a la raza de los Sheikah y le ayuda enseñándole con su arpa una serie de melodías mágicas que le permiten viajar a los templos ocultos en Hyrule.

Aparece también en el videojuego Super Smash Bros. Melee para Nintendo Gamecube, permitiendo alternar entre Sheik y Zelda en la mitad del combate. En este juego, como princesa Zelda, los ataques usados suelen ser de naturaleza mágica, mientras como Sheik los ataques son de combate cuerpo a cuerpo y lanzamiento (lluvia) de cuchillas. Sheik aparece también en Super Smash Bros. Brawl (Wii) con el diseño de Twilight Princess (aunque nunca se vio a Sheik en ese juego, había un diseño en el que se basaron para crear a Sheik en Brawl. Eso indica la posibilidad de que fuera a salir en el juego).

Existe el rumor que Sheik podría aparecer en el nuevo titulo de la saga "The Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword" aunque no se sabe a ciencia cierta que rol tomara el personaje en la historia, aunque sí es posible que aparezca su raza, los Sheikah.
