Swinub, (ウリムー, Urimoo en el original japonés) es una de las 493 criaturas ficticias de la franquicia Pokémon.

Etimología

Su nombre está formado por la combinación de palabras en inglés swine (cerdo) y nub (bulto).

Biología

Es un pequeño Pokémon con forma de cerdo que habita en lugares fríos cercas de montañas, gracias a su grueso pelaje que los protege perfectamente de estas condiciones climáticas.

Swinub frota su nariz contra el suelo para encontrar comida. Su comida favorita es un hongo que crece bajo la hierba marchita, aunque comerán cualquier cosa que guste a su nariz. Tiene uno de los mejores sentidos del olfato de entre los Pokémon, por eso mucha gente lo usa para buscar tesoros y muchas compañías lo usan para buscar aguas termales.

Swinub evoluciona a Piloswine en el nivel 33. A partir de la cuarta generación Piloswine evoluciona a Mamoswine al subir un nivel cuando haya aprendido el movimiento Poder pasado.
