The Best of the Pink Floyd es un álbum de recopilación de la música entonces-reciente de Pink Floyd, concentrándose en los sencillos desde 1967 a 1969. Fue lanzado en los Países Bajos en 1970, y más tarde en Hungría, y contiene sus cinco sencillos británicos, y pistas de dos sencillos mas lanzados en otros países. Una recopilación europea posterior titulada Masters of Rock dice "Originalmente distribuido como The Best of Pink Floyd" en la cubierta trasera, pero ambos álbumes contienen pistas que no están en el otro.

Este disco era notable por ser la única fuente en LP para "Point Me at the Sky", y las mezclas originales en monoaural de "Apples and Oranges" y "Careful With That Axe, Eugene" previo a la era de las recopilaciones y redistribuciones en CD. No contiene algún sencillo mezclado en estéreo que se encuentre en "Relics" y Masters of Rock, debido a que éste álbum sólo fue lanzado en monoaural.
