Thirst (hangul: 박쥐, Bakjwi) es una película coreana de terror de 2009, escrita y dirigida por Park Chan-wook. Está basada en la novela Thérèse Raquin de Émile Zola.[1] La película cuenta la historia de un sacerdote que está enamorado de la esposa de su amigo que se está convirtiendo en un vampiro debido a un experimento médico fracasado.[2]

Park ha declarado: "Esta película fue originalmente llamada "The Bat" (El Murciélago) para transmitir una sensación de horror. Después de todo, se trata de vampiros. Pero también es más que eso. Se trata de la pasión y un triángulo amoroso. Creo que es único, porque no es sólo una película de suspense, ni tampoco una película de terror, sino una historia de amor ilícito".[3] Es la primera película coreana destinada al gran público en mostar desnudez frontal masculina.[4] La película ganó el Premio del Jurado en el Festival de Cannes 2009.[5]
