(1955) McMath es un asteroide perteneciente al cinturón de asteroides que orbita entre Marte y Júpiter. Su nombre hace referencia a Robert Raynolds McMath, astrónomo estadounidense.[1]

Fue descubierto el 22 de septiembre de 1963 desde el Observatorio Goethe Link, en Brooklyn, Indiana, Estados Unidos.
