Gush Etzion

Gush Etzion (Hebreo: גּוּשׁ עֶצְיוֹן‎‎) es un conjunto de asentamientos israelíes localizados en Cisjordania. Los asentamientos fueron construidos luego de la Guerra de los seis días. Como otros poblados de esta especie, su legalidad ha sido tema de permanente controversia, según algunos sectores de la Comunidad Internacional esos deben ser considerados ilegales según las normas del Derecho Internacional, no obstante, Israel niega terminantemente esta última afirmación.[1] De acuerdo con la Oficina Central de Estadísticas de Israel, la población de Gush Etzion en el 2008 ascendía a más de 55.000 personas.[2]
