El ticotico colirrufo (Philydor ruficaudatus),[2] también denominado hojarasquero colirrufo y limpiafronda colirrufa,[3] es una especie de ave paseriforme de la familia Furnariidae que vive en Sudamérica.

Distribución y hábitat

Se encuentra en Bolivia, Brasil, Colombia, Ecuador, la Guayana francesa, Guyana, Perú, Surinam y Venezuela.[1]

Su hábitat natural es la selva húmeda tropical de regiones bajas, a menos de 500 m de altitud, tanto en tierra firme como en zonas inundables.[4]

Descripción

Mide aproximadamente 17,3 cm. El plumaje del dorso y las alas es verde oliva grisáceo, que contrasta con la cola rufa brillante; línea y región ocular amarillenta; mejillas oscuras; garganta blanca a crema; pecho amarillo oliváceo y vientre oliva oscuro amarillento.[5]
