Ken Owen (born Kenneth Owen, 23 Abril de 1970, Billinge, Merseyside) es un [Inglés]] baterista.Él nació en Billinge y se crió Gayton, Merseyside. Es muy conocido por ser un miembro fundador de Carcass, en donde también cantaba.[1] Después de la separación de la banda en 1995, él empieza un nuevo proyecto Blackstar, junto con 2 miembros de Carcass.[2] En febrero de 1998, sufre underrame cerebral en su casa y pasa los siguientes 10 meses en coma, haciendo esto imposible que vuelva a tocar la batería.[3]

Recientemente, Ken Owen comenzó a tocar la batería de nuevo, pero compone su música a través de un software Reason. En 2008 se une a Carcass durante múltiples presentaciones en festivales comoWacken Open Air, Damnation Festival, 2009 en Bloodstock Open Air y en el 2010 en Vagos Open Air para tocar un solo de batería.

Actualmente es estudiante en Confetti Institute of Creative Technologies in Nottingham.
