Olaf Feilan

Según el Landnámabók ("Libro de los asentamientos"), Olaf Feilan también conocido como Olaf Pequeño Lobo (nórdico antiguo: Ylving, ingles antiguo: Wulfing, gaélico irlandés: Faelan) (890?-940?) fue un goði (sacerdote del paganismo nórdico) islandés durante la colonización de Islandia en el siglo X.[1] Era hijo de Thorstein el Rojo, caudillo vikingo y jarl de Caithness, y su esposa Thurid Eyvindsdottir. Tras la muerte de su padre acompañó a su abuela Auðr djúpúðga Ketilsdóttir y miembros de su clan a Islandia, y fundaron un asentamiento en Hvammr, región de Laxardal. Hacia el año 920 casó con una mujer llamada Alfdis, su abuela murió durante el festejo nupcial. La descendencia de Olaf y Alfdis fue numerosa: Thord Gellir, Thora, Helga, Thorunn y Thordis.

Olaf murió hacia 940. Su sobrino Ólafur pái Höskuldsson recibió el mismo nombre al nacer, en honor a su difunto tío.[2]
