Se encuentra en Benín Botswana Burkina Faso Camerún República Centroafricana Chad Costa de Marfil, Etiopía Gambia Ghana Kenia Madagascar Malawi Malí Mozambique Namibia Nigeria, Nigeria Senegal, Sudáfrica, Sudán Tanzania Togo Zambia y Zimbabue.

Hábitat

Su hábitat natural son: sabanas áridas y húmedas.
