Veleda (Velleda) es un asteroide, el número 126 de la serie, descubierto el 5 de noviembre de 1872 desde París (Francia) por Paul Pierre Henry (1848—1905), siendo su primer avistamiento acreditado. Él y su hermano Prosper Henry descubrieron un total de 14 asteroides. Recibe su nombre de Veleda, sacerdotisa germánica del siglo I.
