Alcapurrias

Las alcapurrias son un tipo de fritura típico de Puerto Rico hecho de una masa compuesta de plátano verde y yautía rallados rellenos de carne molida de res (picadillo), jueyes o pescado, frito en suficiente aceite vegetal que las cubra. Muchos puertorriqueños disfrutan de esta fritura y se les ve a menudo comiéndolas en la playa con familiares y amigos. Las alcapurrias son una de tantas frituras servidas en "kioskos" (tipo de establecimiento de comida rápida).
