In the Eye of the Storm es el primer álbum de estudio en solitario del músico británico Roger Hodgson tras su marcha del grupo Supertramp en 1983.

Si bien el disco presenta una evidente influencia del sonido característico de Supertramp en algunas de sus canciones, In the Eye of the Storm fue bien aceptado por la crítica por las interpretaciones de Hodgson. En el mismo, Hodgson toca todos los instrumentos, aunque también contó con las colaboraciones de músicos como Michael Shrieve (batería), Scott Page (saxofón), Ken Allardyce (armónica, coros), Jimmy Johnson (bajo) y Clare Diament (coros).

Una versión recortada de "Had a Dream (Sleepin with the Enemy)" fue publicada como sencillo, alcanzando el puesto 48 de las listas de singles de Billboard y el 5 en la lista Mainstream Rock Tracks. El segundo sencillo, "In Jeopardy", obtuvo una menor acogida en las listas de éxitos, alcanzando el puesto 30 en la lista Mainstream Rock Tracks.
