Laurence Paul Cunningham (*Londres, Inglaterra, 8 de marzo de 1956 - Madrid, España, 15 de julio de 1989), fue un futbolista inglés. Jugo de delantero y su primer equipo fue Leyton Orient. Fue el primer jugador inglés en vestir la camiseta del Real Madrid, a la par que el fichaje más caro del club por aquellos años, tasado en 195 millones de pesetas. Apodado "La Perla Negra", Cunningham no tuvo mucha suerte en el Real Madrid debido a la cantidad de lesiones que sufrió, pero si que se le recuerda como uno de los pocos jugadores blancos que han salido ovacionados del Camp Nou, venciendo los merengues aquel día por un resultado de 0-2.
