The plot of Hideo Kojima's 2004 videogame Metal Gear Solid 3: SnakeEater is told across three and a half hours of cutscenes. In 1960's Russia, American secret agent Snake's must by rescue a Russian scientist, destroy a nuclear-equipped tank that will upset the balance of the Cold War, and assassinate a rogue Russian general and his American defector ally who intend to plunge the world into a global nuclear war on the Soviet Union's behalf. It is a tale of honor, loyalty, patriotism, friendship, and duty; with enough beauty, humor, violence, and depth to sustain multiple viewings even skipping the gameplay.
