Es la cofundadora de la banda The Crest. El 3 de junio de 2004, se unió a Theatre of Tragedy, reemplazando a Liv Kristine.
Mediante un comunicado del 1 de marzo de 2010 en la página oficial de Theatre of Tragedy, se anunció la disolución de la banda a partir del 2 de octubre de 2010, por lo que Sigland asumirá otro destino en su carrera.
