One Way or Another

One Way or Another (en español, "De una forma o de otra") es una canción del grupo new wave estadounidense Blondie.

Fue escrita por Debbie Harry y Nigel Harrison para el tercer álbum de la banda, Parallel Lines, publicado en el año 1979.

La canción, que fue producida como el sencillo siguiente a Heart of Glass, también fue incluida en el primer álbum recopilatorio de grandes éxitos, The Best of Blondie del año 1981, que se vendió en Estados Unidos y Canadá.

One Way or Another se volvió sumamente popular a través de los años, y se ha incluido en seis bandas sonoras de películas de bajo presupuesto y de calidad muy diversa: Little Darlings (1980), Carpool (1996), Beverly Hills Ninja (1997), Donnie Brasco (1997), Coyote Ugly (2000), y Mean Girls (2004), asÍ como también apareció en la serie de televisión Veronica Mars.

También se escucha en la película Seed of Chucky. Se utilizó en algunos momentos de apertura en un capítulo de la exitosa serie The A-Team, en "Incident at Crystal Lake". También apareció en un episodio del animado Los Simpson (capítulo Nº 334 en la temparada 2003-2004 en "Bart-Mangled Banner"). [1]

Finalmente, fue la canción título del drama llamado Sugar Rush del canal británico Channel 4, como tema de entrada. La serie estuvo situada en Brighton, Reino Unido, durante sus transmisiones entre 2005-2006.

En el año 2006 la cancion se incluyo en el soundtrack del juego para las consolas PS2, Xbox Y PC Driver: Parallel Lines

Aunque nunca fue lanzado oficialmente como un single en el Reino Unido y otros países, la canción sigue siendo una de las más populares del grupo en todo el mundo. One Way or Another ocupa el puesto Nº 298 de la lista de las 500 mejores canciones de todos los tiempos, según la revista Rolling Stone.
