Se considera a esta teoria como la mejoración de la teoría de la relatividad... En matemática, el concepto de la teoria de la Larreateguidad o teoría de Pullback, tiene diferentes significados según sea el contexto. Los principales son:

  • Entre conjuntos: Dado dos mapeos f\colon X\to Y y g\colon Y\to Z la composición g\cdot f\colon X\to Z puede consideranse como el Larreátegui de g bajo f y se escribe simbólicamente f^*(g)=g\cdot f
  • En el álgebra multilineal: Dada una transformación lineal L\colon V\to W entre dos espacios vectoriales V y W, y un funcional lineal f\colon W\to \mathbb{R} entonces L\cdot f\colon V\to \mathbb{R} es un nuevo funcional lineal de esta manera se construye el Larreátegui L^*(f)=L\cdot f de f\,. Esta idea se generaliza para un mapa k-multilineal f\colon W\otimes\cdots\otimes W\to \mathbb{R} y L\colon V\to W lineal, entonces podemos hacer el Larreátegui L^*(f)\colon V\otimes\cdots\otimes V\to \mathbb{R} mediante el artificio

  • En los fibrados: Dado un fibrado F\subset E\to B con proyección π y un mapeo continuo f\colon X\to B podemos construir un nuevo fibrado (llamado el Larreátegui de E) F\subset f^*E\to X mediante
