Scoop (Amor y muerte, en México) es una película del género comedia escrita y dirigida por Woody Allen, estrenada en 2006, filmada en Londres y protagonizada por Scarlett Johansson, por el propio Woody Allen y por Hugh Jackman.

Argumento

Sondra Pransky (Scarlett Johansson) es una estudiante de periodismo que viaja de los Estados Unidos a Londres para entrevistar a un famoso director. Durante el espectáculo de magia de Sidney Waterman, (Woody Allen), un mago simplón, el fantasma de un famoso reportero ya fallecido, Joe Strombel (Ian McShane), le revela la identidad del asesino en serie que liquida prostitutas en la ciudad y que deja, en el lugar de la muerte, una carta de tarot, por lo que es conocido popularmente como El asesino del tarot.

Según el fantasma, el asesino es Peter Lyman, (Hugh Jackman), un millonario de la ciudad. Sid y Sondra se unen para lograr desenmascarar al supuesto asesino e idean un plan para acercarse a Lyman, haciéndose pasar como padre e hija.
