The Ghost of Tom Joad es el undécimo álbum de estudio del músico estadounidense Bruce Springsteen, publicado por Columbia Records en 1995. El álbum fue grabado y mezclado en Thrill Hill durante la primavera y el verano de 1995.

El álbum se compone de un trabajo típicamente acústico, basado en arreglos con una sola guitarra acústica, y de letras que reflejan la vida a mediados de los 90 en Estados Unidos y en México. Tom Joad es el héroe de la novela The Grapes of Wrath, de John Steinbeck. Springsteen comentaría posteriormente que se inspiró en un principio en la película de John Ford basada en la novela.

El tema que da título al álbum, "The Ghost of Tom Joad", fue versionado por Rage Against the Machine y Junip.

La publicación de The Ghost of Tom Joad sería seguida por una gira de Springsteen en solitario.
