El término de Bachelor of Science designa un título de grado en los países anglófonos o anglosajones. Se obtiene después de tres años de estudios en la Unión Europea, Gran Bretaña, País de Gales, Irlanda del Norte, Quebec, Singapur, Australia, Nueva Zelanda, Hong Kong o África del Sur y cuatro años en el resto de Norteamérica y en Escocia. Este término se encuentra normalmente abreviado como B.Sc. ó B.S. (más raramente en S.B. ó Sc.B.), iniciales de la expresión latina Baccalaureus Scientiæ.

En Norteamérica, la obtención de un título de Bachelor of Science exige que el estudiante haya seguido una mayoría de sus cursos (la mitad o los tres cuartos) en materias científicas, ciencias de la vida, ciencias físicas o en matemáticas. El resto de los cursos es de educación general.

En el Reino Unido, las disciplinas en cuestión varían más y pueden incluir, por ejemplo, las ciencias económicas. Pero esto depende también de las universidades que pueden, para temas similares, dar más bien Bachelor of Arts. En la Universidad de Oxford, este título era un título inicialmente de segundo ciclo (postgrado) que después se ha renombrado como Master of Science.
