En inmunología se denomina CD19 (del inglés cluster of differentiation 19) a un tipo de antígeno CD propio del sistema inmune de mamíferos. Se caracteriza por poseer un peso molecular de 95 kDa y su naturaleza bioquímica lo encuadra dentro de la familia de las inmunoglobulinas. Su función biológica en la célula es: formar un complejo con CD21 (CR2) y CD81 (TAPA-1); de este modo, actúa como correceptor de las células B, puesto que su dominio citoplasmático une a las tirosínquinasas citosólicas y la PI-3 kinasa. Se expresa específicamente en células B.[1] [2]
