Crime of the Century es el tercer álbum de estudio del grupo británico Supertramp, publicado en 1974. El álbum supuso el primer trabajo que incluía la formación clásica del grupo y la producción de Ken Scott, quien previamente había colaborado con David Bowie y The Beatles.

El álbum fue grabado en distintos estudios, incluyendo Ramport Studios, propiedad de The Who, Trident Studios y Scorpio Sound (Londres); entre febrero y junio de 1974. Gran parte de las canciones habían sido incluídas previamente en conciertos del grupo, como "School", "Bloody Well Right", "Rudy" y la canción que da título al álbum. Casi todo el álbum figura en el álbum en directo de 1980 Paris, si bien la orquestación de las canciones en el álbum original fueron reemplazadas por sintetizadores interpretados por John Helliwell con la ayuda de Roger Hodgson.

Crime of the Century supuso el primer álbum de Supertramp en entrar entre los cuarenta primeros puestos de las listas estadounidensas. Tras la publicación de Even in the Quietest Moments en 1977, Crime of the Century fue certificado como disco de oro por la RIAA.

El álbum sería remasterizado y reeditado el 11 de junio de 2002 por A&M Records.
