Daphne Oram (31 de diciembre, 19255 de enero de 2003), fue una compositora y música electrónica de origen inglés. Creadora de la técnica "Oramics", la cual es usada para crear sonidos electrónicos.

Estudió en el Sherborne School For Girls. Desde temprana edad Oram aprendió el piano, el órgano y composición musical.[1] En 1942 le ofrecieron una plaza en el Royal College of Music; sin embargo, rechazó esta propuesta y aceptó una posición en la BBC como ingeniera de estudio y también encargada del balance tonal de la música.[2]
