Dean Stockwell es un actor norteamericano que ha aparecido tanto en televisión como en cine. Nació el 5 de marzo de 1936 en Hollywood, California.
En cine ha actuado en Sandino, The Manchurian Candidate y The Dunwich Horror.
Su carrera en televisión ha sido mucho más prolífica, actuando en muchas series tanto como invitado ocasional como parte del reparto habitual. Como ser Stargate SG-1, en el papel de un cientifico del planeta Kelownan y mentor de Jonas Queen (corin nemec)y Battlestar Galactica como una especie de psicologo y sacerdote y a la vez un cylon

- En 1962 en el Festival de Cannes ganó el premio al Mejor Actor por Larga jornada hacia la noche.
