A Matter of Life and Death

Death on the Road es un álbum en directo de la banda británica de heavy metal Iron Maiden, grabado en el Westfalenhalle ubicada en la ciudad de Dortmund, Alemania, durante la gira Dance of Death Tour (2003–2005).

De este álbum musical aparecio un DVD que fue lanzado el 6 de febrero de 2006. Esta compuesto con tres DVD, con el primer DVD siendo el concierto en el audio de 5.1 Dolby Digital, el segundo DVD que es el concierto en sonido estereo y el tercer DVD contiene contenido especial, incluyendo el making-off del DVD y todos los videos promocionales del álbum Dance of Death.

Según se informa, el segundo DVD tenia ciertas fallas de sonido ya que una de las tres guitarras fallaba en el ámbito de sonido en los solos.

En 2005 cuando el álbum Edward the Great fue reeditado, la grabación de la canción "Fear of the Dark" de este disco fue incluida en ese álbum.

La portada de este disco fue hecha por Melvyn Grant.
