"Guitar Hero 5" y "Band Hero" cuentan con la propiedad de exportar canciones de "Guitar Hero"s previos.[1] [2]
Los usarios de Xbox 360 y PlayStation 3 pueden borrar la cantidad de canciones ya exportadas cuando quieran, el Wii sólo las puede descargar individualmente. Las canciones no exportables son debido a que no pudieron conseguir la licencia y no por problemas técnicos.
