David Held

David Held (1951 - ) es un sociologo británico, especialista en teoría política y relaciones internacionales. Junto con Daniele Archibugi ha sido una de las figuras claves en el desarrollo del cosmopolitismo, y un reconocido erudito en la campo de la globalización.

Notas biográficas y académicas

Se formó en Gran Bretaña, Francia y Estados Unidos. Ha sido profesor de Política y Sociología de la Open University y es catedrático de Ciencia Política en la cátedra Graham Wallas de ciencias políticas en la London School of Economics (LSE). Fue cofundador de la editorial Polity especializada en temas de teoría política, ciencias sociales y humanidades.
