Above the Noise —en español: Por encima del ruido— es el quinto álbum de estudio de la banda británica McFly. El álbum fue lanzado el 15 de noviembre de 2010.[1] El disco ya tiene tres singles lanzados: "Party Girl", que salió a la venta el 6 de septiembre; " Shine a Light", que salió el 8 de noviembre (y tiene la colaboración de Taio Cruz.,[2] y "That's The Truth" se anunció en Super City, el 8 de Diciembre de 2010, que saldría al mercado el 6 de Marzo de 2011. El título del álbum se supo cuando estuvo disponible para reservarlo en la web de HMV, y en una entrevista con el presentador Chris Moyles en la BBC Radio 1. La banda da una copia del disco a los fans que se hayan suscrito a la nueva web de McFly, Super City.[3] La banda ha trabajado con el productor Dallas Austin y el cantante Taio Cruz en el álbum, además de volver a su anterior discográfica, Island Records de Universal, después de haber creado su propia discográfica para el disco Radio:ACTIVE, aunque no han dejado ésta tampoco.[4] Ya se ha confirmado que el álbum tendrá once canciones.[5]
