National Book Critics Circle Award

National Book Critics Circle Award

El Premio del Círculo de Críticos Nacional del Libro o en inglés el National Book Critics Circle Award es un galardón que entrega el 'National Book Critics Circle' (NBCC) para promover los mejores libros y revistas publicada en inglés. Los principales premio fallan en seis categoría: Ficción, No Ficción, Poesía, Autobiografía, Biografía, y Crítica. Estos premio no son entregados a títulos previamente publicados en inglés, como por ejemplo nuevas versiones de texto antiguos. Hay libros que no son considerados en estas categorías, como los libros de cocina, libros de auto-ayuda (incluyendo literatura inspiracional), libros de referencia, libros de imágenes o libros infantiles. Sin embargo, los títulos elegidos para ser galardoneados pueden ser 'traducciones, historias cortas o colecciones de ensayos', o cualquier título que pueda entrar en las categorías mencionadas anteriormente.
