The Great Southern of Spain Railway Company Limited fue la concesión ferroviaria en España para el trazado de Lorca a Baza y Baza a Águilas en 1876 y 1874, respectivamente. Con sede social en Águilas y Londres. Responde al intento de viabilidad productiva de la actividad minera del hierro de las minas del Alto Almanzora. Las principales características de esta línea ya desaparecida fueron las de servir como transporte de minerales, espartos, mármol, productos alimenticios y de viajeros. Esta línea estaba conectada con Granada por Guadix y con Murcia por Lorca.
