Hellfest Summer Open Air

Los promotores de este evento habían organizado anteriormente el FuryFest en Le Mans en 2004 y 2005.
En junio de 2009, grupos religiosos y de extrema derecha pidieron a los organizadores del festival que se retiraran del Hellfest. Coca-Cola anunció unos pocos días después que no volverían a patrocinar al festival.
